ATPL (A) training information:

The Airline Pilot’s License is the highest license a pilot can obtain. This is the official qualification you need to apply for a position in an airline and be in command of a commercial airliner. Airlines are looking for pilots who can demonstrate an intelligent approach to air operations and have the necessary knowledge to overcome unexpected challenges, so it is extremely important to build a good theoretical knowledge base during ATPL training.

100 KSA
(ang. Knowledge, Skills, Attitude) aims to extend the key skills of training pilots already during theoretical classes to aviation licenses. These skills focus on the application of existing knowledge, understanding it on the level of many aspects at the same time and the ability to demonstrate both technical and non-technical knowledge and skills. New guidelines in the area of 100 KSA are assessed at the ATO level to ensure that training participants can achieve the appropriate level of competence before the end of the examination session at the Civil Aviation Office.

Who can take part in the training?
Our offer is aimed at PPL (A) license holders who have valid aero-medical examinations. We direct the offer to candidates who will pursue training for the ATPL (A) professional qualifications and at a later stage want to perform commercial flights and apply to airlines. The set of materials we offer consists of an e-learning base containing the knowledge needed to obtain theoretical competences at the Airline Pilot level.
An indispensable element to start the training is a set of books that remain for the pilot’s use also after the theoretical course is completed in the user’s account. We offer study books in a set! The books are for student use on an iOS device.

 
 

What does the education process look like?

Distance learning

The ATPL(A) training program involves 18 weeks of self-education and is divided into 3 modules. The first element of the training is distance learning, which allows for flexible implementation of the teaching process, containing a range of knowledge concentrated in 650 hours of learning. Each week of training includes approximately 35 hours of theoretical classes. The time to become familiar with each module is 5 weeks and each module is completed with a control exam on the Evionica platform. During the training, we plan three stationary meetings on weekends.

Classroom lectures:

Classroom lectures are conducted at the premises of the ZONDA.aero school, thanks to which the students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the material directly from experienced specialists in their field. This is a summary of the material you have mastered during the self-study period. This is an excellent time to ask questions, the concept of knowledge on additional examples taken from actual situations in flight.

A total of 650 hours of lectures, of which 85 hours are held on a stationary basis. The student gets acquainted with the knowledge of the following subjects:

  • Flight planning and monitoring

  • Human performance and limitations
  • Meteorology
  • General navigation
  • Radio navigation
  • Operational procedures

What is the ATPL theoretical course?

The ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) theoretical course is an essential stage in obtaining a commercial pilot license. This is advanced theoretical training that covers all aspects of aviation and flight safety requirements. At this stage of training, pilots acquire the skills needed to safely perform passenger flights.
